Lights Out Heartland is a collaboration of organizations from the heartland area of the USA that are partnering to reduce light pollution during bird migration periods.  Spearheaded by the Missouri Chapter of DarkSky International, Lights Out Heartland is one example of the national partnership between the DarkSky International and the National Audubon Society.

"Program Partners" meet by ZOOM at 1:30 pm on the Third Thursday of odd months of the year.   The 2025 meeting dates are 1/16, 3/20, 5/15, 7/17, 9/18, 11/20
